RDBMS Developer / Lead

Experience :
5+ Years

Required Skills :

Must have:

• Proven implementation work experience as a Database developer with 4+ years dealing with production databases
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
• Hands on experience with SQL and PL/SQL, preferably in production environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good to have:

• 4+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server or any other RDBMS
• Familiarity working with Java, JavaScript and any other scripting language will be added advantage
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• An ability to understand client requirements and a problem-solving attitude
• In depth conceptual knowledge of RDBMS like Oracle and MSSQL Server 
• Extensive knowledge of DB datatypes such as string, varchar, date 
• Able to develop PL/SQL procedures, and good at exception handling 
• Should be able to identify the root causes of procedural errors and fix them
• Good knowledge of writing SQL queries with partitioning concepts 
• Basic knowledge of administration functions such as grant/revoke privileges, create •indexes, import and export schema/data using IMPDP/EXPDP commands
