Database Admins (Redshift/Postgres)

Required Skills :

• Looking for 3+ Years of Expertise in writing and optimizing queries for performance, including but not limited to Redshift/Postgres/SQL/BigQuery and using query plans.
• Expertise in database permissions, including but not limited to Redshift/BigQuery/Postgres/ SQL/ Windows AD
• Knowledge of database design/ ability to work with data architects and other IT specialists to set up, maintain, and monitor data networks/storage/metrics.
• Experience working with third party vendors, being able to coordinate with third parties and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and business partners on both long- and short-term projects related to efficiency, optimization, and cost reduction.
• Expertise in database management best practices/ IT security best practices
• Experience with the following is a plus:
  – Harness
  – Git
  – Cloud Watch
  – Cloudability
  – Other monitoring dashboard configurations

Required Skills :

• Experience with a variety of computer information systems
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
•  Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
• Expertise in backup and recovery, including AWS Redshift snapshot restores. Redshift
• (provisioned and serverless) configuration and creation. Redshift Workload Management, Redshift table statistics.
